Avry

Our Story

Home buying became too complicated. And too expensive.

Avry was founded by three Australians — Michael, Nick and Nicholas — who believed there had to be a better way to buy a home in America.

In Australia and the UK, buyers commonly deal directly with the agent selling the home. Fewer middlemen. Fewer fees. A simpler transaction.

In the U.S., buying one home can mean paying for two real estate agents — adding thousands of dollars to an already expensive process.

We thought: why?

So we built a different path.

Avry is built around a simple idea: reduce the cost of buying a home by reducing the number of people taking a cut of the transaction.

Technology can now do much of what once required an intermediary. Buyers can find homes themselves, understand the market, prepare an offer and move through the transaction with the information and professional support they actually need.

Because the buyer should be the hero.

Home ownership remains one of the most important ways people build long-term wealth.

Our enemy isn’t the real estate agent. It’s unnecessary cost.

Avry exists to strip away that cost, give buyers more control and help more people find their way into home ownership.

One home. Fewer middlemen. A better way home.
